Why is it so wrong to get upset when people do dumb sh#t?

Why is it so wrong to get upset when people do dumb sh#t? Is it wrong to expect that people have the same consideration towards other people that they want other people to have towards them? I believe that it's called "putting yourself in the other person's position" so that you can see things from their perspective. I'm a pretty forgiving guy when it comes to mistakes, Lord knows I've made my share, and have a very healthy appetite to make plenty more, but say "excuse me, I'm sorry, or my bad," aknowledge the fact that you have made that mistake and meant no harm. Is it so wrong to expect that of people? I was taught that being a man meant taking responsibilty for your actions. Thats what I try to do no matter how hard it is, thats my cross to bear...not someone else's. I don't want someone else to pay for a mistake that I have made because then I wouldn't feel like much of a man. So in closing..."be a man about it!"

P.S. Wow, everyone thinks that I have some anger management problem because I wanted to kick that guy's "rolling book bag" across the platform this morning? Isn't that natural when someone is so inconsiderate that it can cause you bodily harm? Why should he get off the hook so easily? Why should I make it easy for him...he could have caused me to miss time from work becasue of a leg injury or embarassed me in front of some really nice looking female! Then I would have had no choice but to "let the monkey out on his @ss!" LMAO!
